Duet for One: To create this painted silk crepe duster, I started with my draper's mock up of the duster, onto which I pinned xeroxes of segments of the original painting to determine placement. The first stage of painting was done on the fabric with the pieces marked but not cut. After construction, I added more paint, as shown above, to brighten the coat further. The final result is on the right.
