Arcadia: One feature of my design for this production was custom machine embroidery. The gold underdress from stock was already embroidered; the overdress that was built added texture; the black net shawl was built with a machine embroidered motif. This shawl was duplicated to be worn also by a 20th century character for a touch of continuity over time.
