As each of us in our working group approached different items to catalog, we began to share our developing guidelines with each other, both as narrative thoughts and as structured tables, so that we could weigh in on each other’s questions and learn from each other’s progress. The resulting guidelines are shared with you here. As the focus of the project is on the cataloging of digital files for 3D models of artwork, our guidelines for those records go into the greatest depth, with both discussion and a detailed table. Our other item types were included to show the relationships in an integrated catalog, but our discussion of those records is more brief, mainly pointing to other existing guidelines that helped with our work on those sections.
